Sabrina Carpenter has released the music video for her hit song “House Tour,” the new single from her Grammy-nominated seventh studio album, Man’s Best Friend. The video dropped on April 6th and was co-directed by Carpenter herself and co-star Margaret Qualley. It also stars Outer Banks actress Madelyn Cline. Carpenter first teased the video on April Fool’s Day, assuring fans with the caption “No joke… house tour video this Monday.” The trio shot the video in a gorgeous house in the Hollywood Hills.
The video begins with a shot of Carpenter’s shoes. White pumps, covered in blood. These are the same shoes from the “Tears” video, a really fun callback to her previous work and an easter egg for the fans to pick up on. The girls pull up to the stunning house in a hot pink van with “Pretty Girl Clean-Up Crew” sprawled across it, yet another cute little callback, this time to the House Tour bridge lyrics. The girls partake in a home robbery. In doing so, they also have a sword fight, try on clothes, raid the freezer for ice cream, go swimming, and eventually grab everything they can — including a Grammy! (Was that shade for Sabrina’s snubs earlier this year?)
Once the police arrive, they casually walk out the front door and hit the road, with the van driving away bearing a sign reading "Just Robbed a House." One of the funniest moments of the video comes in the final moments, when Carpenter, driving, hits a man and keeps driving. This hit-and-run/killing men vibe is a major part of Carpenter’s video aesthetic and a recurring theme throughout her work. “It’s a thing, someone has to die every video. Sorry.” she said in her “Tears” video, and it remains true.
The cinematography is at its best during the chorus. As Carpenter sings “I could take you to the first, second, third floor,” the camera cuts through each level of the house — each one more revealing than the last. The first floor: a slow, seductive close-up of her lips. The second floor: a bra slipping off. The third floor: some ass action and some panties dropping around the ankles. It's a masterclass in marrying visuals to lyrics. The video has sexy moments sprinkled throughout, with that real Sabrina charm and wit shining through. The camera angles work their magic, really highlighting certain ASSets. Some would argue it's provocative, others would say it's liberating — but either way, it's impossible to look away.
The video is a visual treat. It’s fun, flirty, and pint-sized popstar-coded. Where other pop stars might lean on spectacle alone, Carpenter and Qualley show real directorial instinct here — every shot feels considered, every gag earns its place. The chemistry between the three leads is effortless, and it shows.
With Coachella on the horizon this weekend, “House Tour” feels like the perfect statement of intent — a reminder that Sabrina Carpenter isn’t just having a moment, she’s building a world. The Sabrinaverse is expanding, and her aesthetic is sharpening. So, Ladies and Gents, whose house tour is next ?
