RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 11 Bracket One has wrapped up! Six queens competed for two spots in the semi-finals across three challenges, showcasing the charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent of A’Keria C. Davenport, Dawn, Lucky Starzzz, Morgan McMichaels, Morphine Love Dion, and Mystique Summers. The queens brought their fiercest looks, sharpest wit, and most creative performances to the runway, leaving fans and the judges gagged week after week. Bracket One was smooth sailing and captured the true essence of sisterhood in the Drag Race realm.

Overall, though, Bracket One felt a little mid rather than a standout. While there were solid moments of queenly excellence, like Dawn really levelling up her drag and Morgan McMichaels coming back looking more polished than ever, the bracket as a whole didn’t quite deliver the level of excitement or iconic drama that Drag Race fans have come to expect from All Stars. It often felt like the production played in Morphine Love Dion's face, with some decisions not always reflecting her talent. Lucky Starzzz was fun but a little messy, never quite finding her footing, and Mystique Summers, though returning for the first time in 16 years, just didn’t seem ready for the high-pressure, new era Drag Race competition and what it now takes to succeed.

This bracket showed that the points system felt a little too kumbaya - like everyone was getting their flowers and the real drama was being kept at bay. As fans, we live for the tension, the strategic voting, and those nail-biting moments that leave us gagged. Instead, this bracket felt a bit too friendly and safe, and we were definitely left wanting a little more mess and a LOT more drama. The bracket was enjoyable, but compared to seasons past, it lacked those truly unforgettable moments that make a bracket legendary.

After a tight competition, A'Keria C. Davenport and Dawn ultimately secured their spots in the semi-finals. Both queens brought their A-game and proved they have what it takes to continue vying for the All Stars crown. I’d like to highlight how Morgan McMichaels was remarkably consistent throughout all three challenges, yet narrowly missed advancing to the semi-finals. Many viewers felt that, given her strong track record, Morgan truly deserved a spot in the semi-finals, and I agree. Sometimes, the Drag Race points system leads to heartbreak for even the most polished queens, and this bracket was a perfect example of how tight the race can be.

As Bracket One concludes, anticipation is high for what the rest of All Stars 11 has in store. If the competition wants to turn up the heat, we’re ready to sweat! So, Bracket Two, don’t hold back and let the games begin!
